Role Overview
Acumentis is expanding its Sydney team and seeks experienced Residential Valuers with diversified expertise beyond traditional mortgage valuation. This role involves working with a broad client spectrum including community housing providers, financial institutions, government agencies, and private clients. Responsibilities cover family law, litigation, council, and asset or financial reporting valuations. Candidates must be CPV-accredited valuers with the capability to enhance client relationships and business development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive residential valuations for multiple purposes such as mortgage security, family law, litigation, council requirements, and asset or financial reporting.
- Develop and sustain client relationships across diverse sectors including community housing, finance, government, and private clients.
- Produce accurate, well-supported valuation reports punctually while keeping clients updated on progress.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the local property market and ensure the job management system is current.
- Support business expansion through marketing initiatives and contribute existing client engagements where applicable.
- Adhere to Acumentis’ high standards of professionalism and quality assurance in all valuation activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in both mortgage and non-mortgage residential valuation work.
- Effective communication skills with sound judgment under pressure.
- Established professional relationships with client groups such as community housing providers, financial institutions, or governmental bodies.
- Ability to independently handle a varied and high-volume workload.
- Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline.
- Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) status and active membership with the Australian Property Institute (API), which is mandatory.
- Valid Australian Driver Licence.
Additional Information
Employment is conditional upon obtaining a National Police Clearance, which the company will cover.
