Role Overview
Staycity is seeking a Reservations Sales Agent with a preference for candidates experienced in Groups. This full-time permanent role is based at the Dublin Head Office. The successful candidate will join Europe's leading aparthotel provider's reservations team, characterized by a dynamic, fast-moving, collaborative, and employee-focused culture. Fluency in English is essential, and candidates who also speak French or German are particularly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and process incoming sales and reservation requests from multiple channels.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to inquiries from customers and travel agents.
- Manage bookings, modifications, and confirmations, including for group reservations.
- Collect and qualify sales leads for city-based Sales Managers, facilitating calls and meetings when appropriate.
- Provide daily sales reports and track performance metrics.
- Occasionally conduct sales research to support lead identification and development efforts for the sales team.
- Ensure superior customer service as the initial point of contact to make the customer experience smooth and welcoming.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional spoken and written English skills are mandatory.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is required; experience with Opera PMS is an advantage.
- Strong customer service aptitude with excellent telephone communication skills.
- Organized, goal-oriented, and capable of prioritizing workloads effectively.
