Key Responsibilities

• Discover and develop newsworthy legal, political, and business stories.
• Perform interviews with relevant sources to gather accurate information.
• Verify facts to ensure accuracy and reliability of news reports.
• Write concise and engaging articles that meet editorial standards and deadlines.
• Collaborate with editors and team members to shape story angles and improve content quality.
• Maintain and cultivate relationships with sources for ongoing coverage.
• Produce multimedia content when required and attend relevant events or press conferences.
• Contribute to enhancing editorial procedures and standards.

Candidate Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in reporting and news writing for complex legal, political, and business topics.
• Exceptional communication and writing capabilities to conduct interviews and create compelling narratives.
• Familiarity with multimedia production and digital publishing tools at a basic to intermediate level.
• Educational background in Journalism, Communication, Law, Political Science, or related disciplines is advantageous.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Theni and collaborate efficiently within a team under time constraints.
