The Institute of Knowledge (IOK) is currently looking for a detail-oriented and committed Remote HR Administrative Assistant to join their team full-time. This position plays an essential role by providing administrative support to the Human Resources division, aiding the organization's goal of promoting a better future through quality Islamic education programs. A competitive wage between $45 and $55 USD per hour is offered.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver extensive administrative assistance to the HR team to facilitate smooth operations.
- Keep employee records updated with precision while ensuring confidentiality within HR information management systems.
- Support recruitment activities such as advertising vacancies, coordinating interviews, and maintaining communication with candidates.
- Organize onboarding processes for new employees, preparing all necessary paperwork and ensuring effective integration into the team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and protocols.
- Assist with drafting HR documents including contracts, offer letters, and internal reports.
- Help manage and coordinate staff training sessions and professional development events.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as handling correspondence, data entry, and scheduling meetings within the HR department.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience in an HR administrative capacity or equivalent support roles.
- Strong organizational capabilities coupled with effective time management and attention to detail.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills suitable for professional environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Capacity to manage sensitive employee information with high confidentiality and integrity.
- Self-driven, with an ability to work efficiently in a remote setting.
- Experience with HR software or Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) is a plus.
- Relevant HR qualifications or education are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Alignment with the organization's educational mission and community values is advantageous.
