Role Overview

We seek a dynamic, motivated Regional Program Manager to lead and execute a community-wide wellness initiative in Atlantic City. This individual will inspire teens to adopt healthier habits and serve as a driving force for sustainable health promotion throughout local schools and neighborhoods.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of 15+ near-peer mentors to facilitate HealthCorps programs in schools.
• Manage health initiatives such as Teens Make Health Happen Clubs, wellness campaigns, community gatherings, and health fairs at regional and national levels.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with school districts, universities, wellness officers, alumni, and community organizations to build a strong collaborative network.
• Evaluate local health inequities and monitor program impact through data collection, reporting, and analysis.
• Ensure effective implementation of HealthCorps educational programs and events throughout the academic year.
• Contribute creatively to social media efforts and promotional activities to elevate program visibility and student engagement.
• Consistently embody HealthCorps’ mission by prioritizing accessible health and wellness in daily work and the broader community.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience.
• Minimum of three years in program management or five to seven years in health, wellness, education, or service-oriented roles.
• Experience mentoring or supervising youth, including recruitment and training capabilities.
• Background working within educational settings.
• Skilled at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong professional network in the Atlantic City area related to health or education sectors.
• Passionate about youth development and community health promotion.
• Competent with Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Track record leading school-based programs and collaborating with educational administrators.
• Self-motivated with solid organizational and problem-solving skills under resource constraints.
• Experience managing program budgets and a proactive growth mindset supporting continuous learning.
• Bilingual proficiency is advantageous.

Physical and Travel Requirements

• Extended periods of desk work and computer use.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 50 miles regionally) to multiple sites including schools and universities.
• Availability for occasional overnight travel and annual staff training/retreats.
• Capability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time salaried position offers a salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:

Location and Work Arrangement

This is a remote position requiring residency within the greater Atlantic City area. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle for regular travel to local schools and community partners, with travel comprising 40-60% of the role’s time. The position may also require some work during afternoons, evenings, and occasional overnight trips.
