Regional Manager - MLB

Overview

The Regional Manager for Delhi-NCR will oversee the planning, execution, and expansion of Major League Baseball (MLB) grassroots initiatives and programs in the region. This includes managing city operations, school partnerships, coaching staff, events like MLB Cup, and fostering a sustainable baseball environment through strong stakeholder engagement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the city-level annual MLB program aligned with national goals.
• Lead city operations encompassing program deployment, coach management, scheduling, logistics, and quality assurance.
• Set and evaluate participation targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure successful delivery of events including MLB First Pitch, MLB Cup, and MLB Clinics.
• Oversee coaching curriculum, standards, and safety protocols across partner schools.
• Manage program calendars, equipment, coach assignments, and reporting frameworks.
• Maintain uniform curriculum execution and conduct assessments to identify and develop talent within technical staff.
• Engage with schools to recruit new participants and build durable partnerships through professional presentations to school leaders.
• Represent the organization at external forums and promptly address stakeholder concerns.
• Ensure compliance with MLB and India On Track policies through regular site inspections and monitoring.
• Support marketing, communication, and visibility efforts related to baseball programs.
• Track program performance data, provide analysis, submit reports, and recommend improvements.
• Lead with professionalism, uphold organizational values, and promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous enhancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least five years of relevant experience in sports program management, grassroots development, or school partnerships.
• Proven ability to lead teams and handle multifaceted stakeholder projects.
• Strong skills in communication, presentation, relationship management, planning, and analysis.
• A strong passion for youth and grassroots sports development.
• Willingness to undertake frequent travel within the Delhi-NCR area.
