About the Team
The Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine (MINM) team at Queensland Children's Hospital consists of medical, nursing, health practitioners, clinical assistants, and administrative staff who collectively aim to deliver excellent service to children and families. They provide imaging services across multiple areas including emergency, ward and outpatient settings, covering general and emergency x-rays, theatre imaging, digital fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, cardiac catheterisation labs, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, bone densitometry, and nuclear medicine like SPECT and PET/CT. The team collaborates with children's hospitals across Australasia and supports colleagues statewide to ensure safe and appropriate imaging for children regardless of location.
Role Overview
The radiographer will be responsible for delivering high-quality pediatric medical imaging services within the CHQ network, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of radiographers and healthcare professionals to support children and their families.
