About the Role
The opportunity is with a global technology company whose Open-Source Engineering team partners with internal and external collaborators to manage the usage of open source and third-party software. This compliance team boasts diverse skills and multidisciplinary expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design comprehensive full stack applications.
- Build automation tools and workflows to enhance and streamline the compliance processes.
- Engage with end-users to gather requirements and address any technical issues encountered.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Django and React frameworks.
- Skilled in application development using Celery.
- Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL; experience with PostgreSQL is advantageous.
- Experience with RabbitMQ for application development.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js and CSS is a significant plus.
- Hands-on experience working with Docker, including writing Dockerfiles, is beneficial.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git and Perforce is desirable.
- Comfortable scripting in shell environments, developing applications, and troubleshooting on UNIX/Linux systems.
- Excellent communication abilities, a proactive attitude, and capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills complemented by meticulous documentation practices for troubleshooting and resolutions.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (BE, B-Tech), or related fields.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in software development.
- Comprehensive understanding of software development life cycle.
- Deep knowledge of web services, application, and micro-service architectures.
