Purchase Executive

Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Purchase Executive in the interiors sector, based in Kengeri, Bengaluru. The role offers a monthly salary ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹30,000.

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively as part of a team focused on wooden furniture, civil works, and interior projects.
• Evaluate purchase requests and efficiently manage the process from purchase request (PR) to purchase order (PO) within defined timelines.
• Work closely with the procurement team to facilitate spot-buying and handle related purchasing activities.
• Address and resolve queries from suppliers and internal business teams during spot-buying operations.
• Create and manage web forms, catalogs, and punch-out systems using Coupa to enhance buying processes.
• Develop and sustain strong working relationships among procurement, suppliers, and end-users.
• Analyze and interpret purchasing-related data to provide actionable insights.
• Support category procurement teams by delivering meaningful data insights derived from Coupa purchase orders.
• Participate in and facilitate training sessions on processes, updates, and compliance requirements.

Educational and Professional Background

• University graduate with degrees such as B.Com, BBA, BBM, or preferably a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Finance.
• Two to three years of relevant experience in Source to Pay processes, ideally in sourcing and procurement.
• Experience or familiarity with wooden furniture, civil, and interiors business sectors is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong customer orientation paired with effective problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Proven capability in data analysis.
• Proficiency or working knowledge of e-sourcing tools and techniques, particularly Coupa.
• Understanding of category management is beneficial.
