Purchase Executive

Overview

Sanskriti Wave Power & Solutions is hiring a Purchase Executive based in Delhi-NCR. This role entails overseeing procurement activities, vendor management, store and inventory control, along with some basic accounting and reconciliation tasks. The candidate will contribute to optimizing material costs and ensuring smooth operations through effective handling of purchase orders, stock monitoring, and invoice verification.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and negotiate with dependable vendors, onboard suppliers, and formulate purchase plans to generate and manage purchase orders for procurement of raw materials.
• Track shipment statuses, address and resolve any delivery delays, and monitor material costs to maintain budget efficiency.
• Supervise daily stock levels, maintain inventory records, and plan replenishments to prevent stock outs or overstocking.
• Ensure proper receipt, inspection, and systematic storage of incoming goods while keeping organized store records.
• Conduct regular physical audits of stock on a weekly or monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and goods received notes for accuracy.
• Manage basic accounting activities including ledger maintenance and vendor payment tracking.
• Collaborate with finance for monthly reconciliation tasks and account access management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate degree preferred in Logistics, Commerce, or related disciplines.
• At least one year of work experience encompassing store management, purchasing, or basic accounting roles.
• Strong negotiation skills, proficient in stock management and inventory tracking.
• Good command of MS Excel and familiarity with basic accounting software.
• Ownership of a two-wheeler and valid driving license for local vendor visits and market sourcing.
• Excellent organizational abilities with capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic setting.
