Protection Officer

Role Overview

The Protection and Control Coordinator at Mantrac Liberia takes charge of ensuring the safety of all staff, products, and assets. This position requires the implementation and supervision of comprehensive security measures that address immediate and future protection needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor security policies to safeguard confidential documents and data.
• Supervise overall security operations, including control of access, intrusion detection, and other security infrastructure.
• Ensure that security activities abide by all relevant legal and international standards for asset protection.
• Participate in designing, delivering, and managing security programs.
• Keep accurate and current records related to security tasks such as patrol reports, visitor logs, vehicle entries, and equipment tracking.
• Investigate incidents involving security breaches, injuries, or theft at Mantrac and associated Delta locations, reporting findings appropriately.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with company management, staff, clients, and external service providers.
• Continuously oversee the work of security guards, ensuring adherence to established access control procedures within Mantrac Liberia.
• Maintain well-documented logs of security guard patrols and related activities, including visitor, vehicle, and equipment logs.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in IT or Electrical Engineering.
• Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant security or protection role.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of producing detailed reports and conducting clear presentations.
