Project Support Associate - Commercial

Overview

The Project Support Associate – Commercial role supports the SA 2106 GIS business by working closely with the Project Management team on commercial and SAP-related transactions. The purpose of the position is to help project managers stay focused on customer expectations and the unit’s profit and loss performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial project activities, including coordinating bank guarantees, letters of credit, and related documentation.
• Prepare the commercial paperwork needed for bank processing of letter-of-credit payments.
• Handle SAP project setup and keep costing details current throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare documentation and help drive the invoicing cycle for all projects, while actively coordinating internally to ensure invoices are issued on time.
• Provide project managers with supporting information for commercial transactions whenever needed.
• Maintain system records and files related to revenue and payment collection.
• Build and update detailed status trackers for internal discussions with management on commercial project activity.
• Support project managers with invoicing reports as required.
• Ensure work is carried out in line with all applicable internal policies, external regulations, and procedures.
• Act in accordance with the company’s safety and integrity standards by taking responsibility for personal actions and supporting colleagues and the business.

Candidate Profile

The role calls for someone with a commerce, finance, or closely related bachelor’s degree, along with practical exposure to commercial documentation in a project setting. Hands-on SAP experience is also necessary. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic are required.
