Project Manager - Manufacturing

Position Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our centralized project management team supporting Manufacturing and Global Sourcing operations. This position leads diverse, cross-functional global projects involving new product introduction (NPI), technology transfers, manufacturing process optimization, and business system rollouts. The ideal candidate excels in leadership, organization, and communication to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across various regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams from engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and operations departments.
• Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to production ramp-up and closure.
• Ensure projects are delivered within defined scope, budgets, timelines, and quality standards, while proactively addressing risks and dependencies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Synchronize multiple concurrent workstreams aligning internal teams and external partners.
• Drive initiatives related to new product introductions, technology transfers, and manufacturing or process improvements.
• Uphold adherence to organizational project governance, processes, and industry best practices.
• Communicate regular progress updates and project status reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Identify and evaluate risks, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating issues when necessary.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers or subordinate project leads.
• Support CAPEX project budgeting, planning, and cost management activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Solid track record managing complex, cross-functional projects including NPI and manufacturing initiatives.
• Experience with CAPEX projects valued above $1 million is preferred.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.

Additional Information

• Role involves occasional domestic and international travel contingent on project needs.
• Work environment is primarily office-based with periodic visits to manufacturing facilities.
