Role overview
The Project Manager will oversee active projects, keep implementation on track, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure project delivery stays aligned with scope, schedule, quality, and budget expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor all live projects using project management software.
- Maintain project and submission records in HubSpot.
- Keep client communication clear and consistent throughout implementation.
- Follow up on pending tasks during the project execution phase.
- Track project spending to help keep work within budget.
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans.
- Share regular progress updates with stakeholders, including changes to strategy and timelines.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers, allocate tasks, and confirm deliverables.
- Apply recognized project management practices, methods, and standards across the full lifecycle of each project.
- Watch progress closely and make adjustments where needed.
- Assess project performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Renewable Energy.
- At least 3 to 5 years of project management experience.
- Experience in the renewable energy sector is an advantage.
- Hands-on knowledge of project planning and management tools such as MS Project.
- Ability to work with field associates and contractors while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
- Dependable, adaptable, and willing to work flexibly.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Experience working in Africa is preferred.
