Role Overview
This position supports the Head of Project Management in delivering and coordinating new equipment projects, with a strong focus on field service and commissioning work. The role helps keep projects moving by aligning technical teams, tracking progress, and contributing to project controls and reporting.
Client Communication
- Assist the Head of Project Management in handling communication with clients and other external parties.
- Take part in internal and external project discussions, especially those tied to execution and commissioning.
- Help ensure information is shared clearly, promptly, and in an organised way across all stakeholders.
Project Coordination and Support
- Support the coordination of cross-functional teams, including parent-company resources and suppliers, so project objectives are delivered through the company’s quality process.
- Suggest process improvements for sales management and project execution where opportunities are identified.
- Share timely updates with business unit, company, and parent-company leadership on project performance, process integration, market movement, project progress, and client relationship concerns.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, field service teams, and suppliers.
- Maintain alignment among stakeholders to help projects run efficiently and on schedule.
- Provide regular status updates, including risks and delivery challenges, to the Head of Project Management.
Project Controls and Reporting
- Track project progress against timelines, budget, and contractual milestones.
- Prepare recurring project reports covering status updates and KPI monitoring.
- Keep planning tools current, such as Gantt charts and MS Project schedules.
- Help manage variations, changes, and project records in line with company procedures.
- Support collection and reporting of project financial data, revenue recognition, and billing status.
Field Service and Commissioning Coordination
- Coordinate and oversee field service and commissioning work, whether performed onsite or remotely.
- Support planning for deployment of field personnel and confirm resource readiness.
- Assist with creating and reviewing commissioning documents, procedures, and checklists.
- Monitor commissioning progress and ensure site teams submit updates on time.
- Maintain communication between site personnel and the project team, including punch lists, technical issues, and non-conformance reporting.

Minimum Qualifications
The role requires at least 2 years of experience in project support, field service coordination, commissioning, or a closely related area. Candidates should have a basic grasp of commissioning and field execution work, be comfortable with MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and have familiarity with MS Project. Strong organisational, communication, and coordination abilities are important, along with the ability to operate in a multicultural, cross-functional setting. The role also requires willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed, approximately 20-30%, and fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, or industrial systems projects, as well as those familiar with remote commissioning and site coordination. A basic understanding of contract structures and commercial project aspects is valued, along with knowledge of project management methods or certifications such as PMP or IPMA, including those still in progress. Experience in international project environments is also an advantage.

This role involves coordination across multiple functions and may require both onsite and remote commissioning support, as well as travel within Germany and abroad when project demands require it.
