Overview
Our client, a multinational consulting firm specializing in strategy, transactions, and advisory services, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Transformation Delivery team in Ireland. This full-time, permanent role involves managing large-scale transformation programmes across diverse sectors including Government, Transport, Energy, Utilities, and Technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage transformation projects ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients across sectors such as Government, Health, Utilities, Transport, and Telecommunications to consistently provide outstanding service.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, risk logs, issue trackers, dependencies, and budget management.
- Deliver crucial programme activities such as business process design, solution testing, and end-user training involving multiple stakeholders.
- Engage regularly with clients to develop innovative solutions based on integrated data insights and sector knowledge.
- Resolve business and technical challenges through cooperative teamwork.
- Develop high-quality project deliverables and present results with minimal supervision.
- Support client account management activities, including project team recruitment, financial oversight, and risk and quality assurance.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and internal teams to generate new business opportunities.
- Assist with presentations and proposals for complex projects directed at current and potential clients.
- Lead, motivate, and manage high-performing teams, communicate effectively with senior leadership, and oversee team development initiatives including coaching and performance reviews.
- Promote understanding of full consulting service offerings and identify opportunities to enhance client value.
- Adhere to workplace policies while contributing to recruitment, retention, and training efforts.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of experience in management consulting or similar advisory roles within industry or public sector.
- 5 to 10 years managing and delivering large-scale projects, programmes, or transformations with expertise in planning, monitoring, resource and financial management, and benefits realization.
- Direct client-facing experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner in Agile or hybrid Waterfall-Agile environments.
- Proven track record as a client-facing Project Manager using Waterfall methodologies.
- Relevant Agile certifications such as Professional Scrum Master/Product Owner or SAFe equivalents.
- Multi-disciplinary background encompassing Project Management, Business Process Design, Testing, and End User Training.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills managing complex programmes.
- Sound knowledge of Project Governance and Change Management principles.
- Strong academic qualifications at the tertiary level.
- Professional certifications like PRINCE2® or PMP are advantageous.
- Interest or experience in Process Improvement, Agile practices, and business case formulation is desirable.
