Overview
Optomi is partnering with a major telecommunications company to hire a Project Coordinator who will help drive large network expansion work. In this role, you will act as the central coordination contact for regional project teams, keeping materials, communications, and escalation items moving smoothly across many stakeholders.
This position suits someone with telecom experience, strong organization, and clear communication skills. The work is collaborative and fast-moving, so the right person will be comfortable juggling priorities, solving problems quickly, and staying detail-oriented.

Must-have qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in telecommunications
- Background in project coordination, project support, or a similar coordination-heavy role
- Working knowledge of telecom network operations or network infrastructure projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-team coordination
- Experience managing escalations and pushing issues through to resolution
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Ability to manage several priorities in a busy environment
- Experience working with distributed teams across different time zones
- U.S. citizenship required
Preferred qualifications
- Exposure to network expansion or infrastructure rollout projects
- Hands-on use of Microsoft Project
- Experience with project tracking or workflow systems
- Familiarity with LumenVision or a similar telecom project management platform
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for assigned regional teams supporting network expansion work
- Coordinate material requests, delivery status updates, and project communications among regional teams, materials managers, and quality control groups
- Handle and resolve issues tied to materials, scheduling, quality, and delivery
- Create action plans that move escalations toward closure on time
- Keep communication flowing between regional teams and centralized support teams, reducing gaps and delays
- Join several cross-functional meetings each day to share updates and align on next steps
- Monitor project progress, material availability, and open issues in Excel and internal tracking tools
- Support more than one project at the same time while staying organized and following through
- Work with stakeholders across multiple time zones to respond quickly to regional needs
- Deliver responsive, high-quality service to internal project teams
