Role Overview
The Production Co-ordinator position is a full-time, on-site role in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and managing daily production workflows in the signage and graphics division. Key duties include organizing job schedules, managing work orders, and ensuring that all materials, artwork, and specifications are accurately prepared and available for the production teams. This role involves close communication with designers, installation crews, and suppliers to monitor project progress, resolve problems, and uphold quality standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and oversee daily production activities within signage and graphics workflows.
- Coordinate job schedules and manage associated work orders effectively.
- Ensure availability and accuracy of materials, artwork, and job specifications for production teams.
- Communicate regularly with designers, installers, and suppliers to track progress and address challenges.
- Update project statuses and monitor production-related inventory levels.
- Support and promote continuous improvements in efficiency and safety within the production environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in production coordination, project administration, or scheduling, preferably within manufacturing, printing, signage, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- High attention to detail to manage specifications, artwork, and documentation accurately.
- Basic proficiency with computer applications and familiarity or willingness to learn production management or job tracking systems.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive mindset towards delays, material shortages, or production challenges.
- Ability and willingness to work on-site in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, including flexibility for occasional extended hours to meet deadlines.
- Experience in signage, printing, or visual branding industries and any relevant technical or vocational training are advantageous.
