Our product range includes heavy-duty lift trucks that feature robust engineering, intelligent technology, and dependable performance to support customers at ports, terminals, logistics centers, and industrial sites globally.
We are seeking a Product Support Technician to join our team based in Dubai, to enhance our technical capabilities across the Middle East and Africa region.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance the technical expertise and product knowledge within the dealer network.
- Deliver training and guidance to dealers on assembly and commissioning processes for Konecranes Lift Trucks and Liftace products.
- Conduct assembly, commissioning, and inspection activities as required.
- Provide both classroom and practical technical training for customers and dealers.
- Train operators and technicians on safe operation, product functions, and maintenance procedures.
- Offer troubleshooting support through on-site visits and remote communication (phone and email).
- Oversee field operations to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Confirm products meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Report non-conformities and technical issues clearly and in a standardized way.
- Visit customers and dealers to offer technical advice and support product optimization.
- Ensure proper understanding and application of the Konecranes Warranty Policy.
Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Experience working with heavy equipment, material handling, or industrial machinery.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Previous experience in technical training or field service is advantageous.
- Customer-focused attitude combined with excellent communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East and Africa region.
Location and Work Setup
Position based in Dubai, involving frequent regional travel. The role follows a hybrid work arrangement.
