About Outsized and Role Overview
Outsized is an innovative and rapidly growing platform specializing in full-time contract roles that range from remote to onsite engagements typically lasting between 1 to 12 months. The organization supports talent development by offering upskilling opportunities and access to an exclusive community for networking and collaboration.
We are partnering with a global payments company working in conjunction with a leading UAE bank launching a digital prepaid card wallet. The position sought is a Prepaid Card Product Manager who will manage the entire product lifecycle spanning regulatory compliance, customer value proposition design, operational setups, launch activities, and post-launch portfolio optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end prepaid card launch activities, including UAE Central Bank regulatory submissions, BIN setup, card scheme onboarding (Visa), card profiling, KYC/AML flow creation, limit settings, testing phases, and go-live preparations.
- Design and commercialize product offerings, defining features, pricing strategies, rewards, and integration with digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay), aligning with platform users and retail strategies.
- Manage prepaid card portfolio performance metrics such as activation rates, load/spend averages, per-card revenue, churn, and fraud, while overseeing the P&L including interchange, fees, and funding costs, proposing improvements for profitability.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with technology, operations, risk, finance, marketing, platform teams, external scheme partners, and processors to ensure integrated product delivery.
- Prepare monthly dashboards and insights for senior leadership and participate in governance meetings monitoring milestones and risks.
- Translate CVP into explicit business and product requirements, including pricing and servicing models tailored for segments such as parents, schools, and students while complementing existing payment methods.
- Develop customer acquisition and activation strategies through digital and branch channels aiming to maximize onboarding and reduce drop-offs.
- Continuously improve prepaid card propositions using customer feedback and competitive analysis to explore specialized segments like school fee-linked or youth prepaid products.
- Liaise with card scheme partners on pricing, certification, compliance, and mandate adherence, supporting internal scheme-related requirements.
- Function as the product owner within the delivery squad, providing requirement clarifications and issue resolution while representing business interests.
Candidate Profile

- Comprehensive understanding of prepaid card lifecycle management including regulatory, operational, and commercial aspects.
- Familiar with card issuing operations such as settlement processes, scheme pricing, card profiling, limits, fraud, and chargebacks.
- Experience integrating digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay) and tokenization technologies.

- Knowledge of UAE Central Bank regulations governing prepaid card issuance.
- Experience or interest in EdTech or consumer payment platforms is advantageous.
- Hands-on knowledge of card management platforms like TSYS Prime, PowerCARD, Way4, Marqeta, or similar issuer processor platforms.

- Proficiency with data analytics tools including SQL, Power BI, Tableau for insights and reporting.
- Experience with product management and agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with scheme portals such as card scheme portals or Visa Online for BIN management and compliance tracking.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities coordinating business and technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for preparing high-level reports, dashboards, and training content.
