Product Manager - Flight API Integration

About the Role

We are looking for a technically skilled and execution-oriented Product Manager to join our Flight System Integration division. This role focuses on managing and optimizing API connections with airline suppliers, ensuring our booking platform’s performance, accuracy, and reliability for millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineering teams to outline technical requirements and guarantee the delivery of quality products.
• Serve as the expert for API connectivity, actively troubleshooting and resolving issues with XML and JSON data exchanges.
• Track critical performance indicators such as API latency and success rates to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and data scientists to formulate integrated product strategies that boost user experience.
• Oversee the prioritization and management of the product backlog, balancing technical debts and new features under senior leadership guidance.
• Take part in an on-call rotation to ensure the flight systems maintain high availability and stability.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline from a recognized university.
• Have at least six years of experience in technical product management or a similarly technical, engineering-focused role.
• Demonstrate hands-on expertise in debugging XML/JSON transactions and a thorough understanding of RESTful APIs; knowledge of Flight APIs such as GDS, NDC, or PSS is highly advantageous.
• Strong familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Data-oriented decision-making skills focused on system performance optimization.
• Effective communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
