• Conduct regular product rotations and promptly remove expired goods to uphold produce quality and freshness.
• Verify accurate pricing and signage for all produce items, adhering to protocols for ordering, clearances, markups, markdowns, labels, and signage.
• Strictly follow food safety guidelines including temperature monitoring, thermometer usage, appropriate food handling, and compliance with expiration and sell-by dates.
• Replenish and downstock merchandise as necessary, apply required product protections, and arrange modular displays to keep the department fully stocked.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies to maintain a secure and clean workplace environment.
• Exhibit flexibility by being available for various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as per business demands.

Challenges Associated with the Role

• Manage a high volume of tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight shifts requiring energy and focus.
• Handle physical demands such as prolonged standing, bending, lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive stock and zoning tasks with consistency and attention to detail.
