Produce Stocker

Position Overview

Working as a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the retail sector. Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the produce department effectively.
• Rotate inventory, monitoring for expired items to maintain product freshness.
• Ensure all produce is correctly labeled and priced.
• Comply with all standards concerning cold chain management, including thermometer calibration and temperature monitoring.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, handling protocols, and sanitation practices.
• Follow procedures related to ordering, clearance sales, price adjustments, labeling, and flagging.
• Maintain a fully stocked department ready for customer service.
• Observe Health and Safety regulations at all times.
• Stock merchandise, manage downstock operations where necessary, apply product protection, and set modular displays including flex modulars and shelf caps.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.05.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
