Processing Officer, Christchurch Mail Centre

About the role

This position is with NZ Post at the Christchurch Mail Centre in Orchard Road. The role is part of a team responsible for handling mail and small packets so they can move through the network and reach their destinations across New Zealand. The work is focused on accuracy, teamwork, and keeping the operation running smoothly.

Pay and hours

• Hourly pay is $26.75 from 1 July.
• Workdays are Monday to Thursday.
• Shift hours are midday to 7:30 pm.

What you will do

• Sort, consolidate, and dispatch mail and small parcels.
• Support a fast-paced processing environment.
• Help maintain safety and efficiency across the site.
