Company overview
Blink Health is a rapidly expanding healthcare technology company focused on making prescription access simpler and more affordable. Its flagship offerings, BlinkRx and Quick Save, are designed to remove common barriers in the prescription supply chain and improve access to important medications for patients.
BlinkRx is described as the first pharma-to-patient cloud platform, providing a digital concierge experience for patients receiving branded medications. The service emphasizes clear pricing, no-cost home delivery, and high-touch support, helping patients avoid situations where prescriptions are unaffordable, paperwork is incomplete, or medication is unavailable at the pharmacy.
The company says it is made up of collaborative builders and operators who are working to modernize an industry that has traditionally been slow to change.
The opportunity
Blink Health is seeking a Principal BD-Tech leader to expand and manage its provider-facing partner ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on interoperability and system integrations that support BlinkRx clinical and pharmacy workflows. This position is intended for someone who can lead strategic healthcare partnerships from early outreach through technical launch, while helping modernize the infrastructure behind provider workflows.
The role owns the end-to-end partnership process, including prospecting, RFPs, contract negotiation, and implementation in partnership with Engineering. It also involves evaluating and onboarding third-party vendors in the interoperability space, translating integration needs across clinical, technical, and commercial teams, and spotting new opportunities where pharmacy, technology, and provider workflows overlap.
Responsibilities
In addition to the partnership and integration focus, the role contributes to broader network and partner growth efforts by working with leadership on business priorities and market opportunities.
- Work with leadership to align partner growth and network initiatives with strategic business goals and market conditions.
- Track market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to support informed decisions.
- Assist with long-range planning and scenario analysis to evaluate opportunities and risk.
- Identify, assess, and drive high-impact initiatives as well as new market or product expansion efforts.
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, Growth, and Finance to ensure supply-chain and network initiatives support operational objectives.
- Serve as a healthcare, pharmacy, or digital pharmacy expert by offering informed insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is mandatory; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, healthcare technology, pharmacy, digital pharmacy, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
- Proven success in executing strategic work such as partnerships and market expansion.
- Strong capability in analysis and financial modeling, including building and evaluating complex business cases.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience influencing and aligning varied stakeholders.
- A highly collaborative approach and a history of contributing effectively in cross-functional environments.
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing setting.
