About the role
This freelance opportunity supports the personal brand of Zainab Mounabbah, cofounder and Chief Marketing Officer at Hyprwork, a fast-growing operator of direct-to-consumer health and wellness brands and a Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe honoree. She is starting a new interview-led podcast and needs a video editor who can turn raw recordings into polished episodes ready for YouTube, plus short clips for social media. The show will feature founders, creators, and operators, so the edit should feel contemporary, high-end, and consistent from the very first release.
Role overview
You will take full ownership of post-production for a new interview series. The source material will include raw multi-camera and audio recordings, and your job will be to shape them into finished episodes with strong pacing, clear storytelling, cleaned-up sound, corrected color, and graphics that create a unified visual identity. In addition to the full-length episodes, you will also cut each recording into vertical short-form clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok, with the goal of grabbing attention quickly and helping the channel grow. Since the series is being built from scratch, you will help define the look and feel from episode one rather than simply following an existing template. This is a hands-on, portfolio-driven role for someone who enjoys conversation-based content and cares about a polished final result.
What you will handle
- Transform raw footage into finished podcast episodes optimized for YouTube, including syncing multiple cameras, tightening pacing, and removing pauses, filler words, and errors.
- Balance and clean dialogue across speakers, reduce noise, and deliver broadcast-quality audio.
- Apply color correction and grading to maintain a consistent premium appearance throughout the series.
- Add opening and closing segments, lower thirds, guest-name graphics, titles, chapter markers, captions, subtitles, B-roll, and subtle motion graphics that support the brand.
- Repurpose each episode into vertical short clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok, formatted and captioned for each platform.
- Export and deliver assets in the correct format and specifications for every channel.
- Keep media and project files organized, manage versions, and handle revision rounds efficiently.
- Preserve a consistent visual style and continuously improve the production value of the channel.
Requirements
You should have solid experience editing podcasts or other long-form interview content, backed by a portfolio or reel of published episodes. Strong spoken and written English is needed so you can follow conversations, clean up captions, and communicate directly with the host. You must be comfortable using a professional editing tool such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro; motion-graphics capability in After Effects or a similar tool is an advantage. The role also calls for confidence with multi-camera workflows, audio cleanup, color grading, short-form social edits, and captioning/subtitling. A good sense of pacing, storytelling, and a modern premium visual style is important, along with reliability, clear communication, remote collaboration, and the ability to work asynchronously while meeting deadlines. You should also be able to overlap with a UAE- and Europe-friendly time window for occasional live calls with the host.
Portfolio requirement
A portfolio is mandatory. Please share links to published podcast or long-form projects and explain your exact contribution and the client or team each piece was made for.
