About the Role

We are a podcast agency collaborating with business owners, executives, and thought leaders throughout North America. We seek a talented Short-Form Clips Editor to become part of our expanding production team on a long-term basis.

Job Description

Your task will include transforming full-length podcast episodes into compelling, high-quality short-form clips (such as Reels, TikToks, and Shorts) that our clients can share on social platforms. Workload typically consists of 5-10 episodes weekly, requiring the creation of 4-5 engaging clips per episode with quick turnaround times, while maintaining strong storytelling, pacing, and caption accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Identify the most impactful and share-worthy segments from podcast content.
• Edit 4-5 vertical short-form clips per episode, adding captions, branding, and animations.
• Ensure clips are smooth, well-edited, and optimized for social media engagement.
• Adhere to provided brand guidelines and template frameworks.
• Meet weekly deadlines reliably.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication about schedules, workloads, and any challenges.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience creating short clips from long-form podcast or video material.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant previous projects (submission of samples is mandatory).
• Access to a dependable internet connection, and ownership of editing software and hardware.
• Strong ability to craft engaging narratives with attention to pacing and viewer engagement "hooks."
• Capacity to manage a steady weekly volume of 5-10 podcasts collectively across the team.
• Effective English communication skills.

This position is designed as a part-time, onsite role based in Short, South Australia, Australia. We are invested in building a dedicated editing team and seek a candidate interested in growth and a long-term commitment.
