Role Overview

Trojan Property Investment (TPI), the development and project management division of Trojan, seeks an AI and Project Controls Analyst for its Abu Dhabi office. This role centers on advancing in-house AI capabilities to support construction delivery, including AI-assisted planning, baseline scheduling, a native AI project management platform, and intelligent document and engineering data systems. The analyst will be integral in applying machine learning and large language models to live project data, facilitating the transition of AI tools from concept to production on active projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and validation of AI-driven tools for construction planning and scheduling, based on Primavera P6, CPM, and EVM methodologies
  • Create Python-based automation scripts and data pipelines to prepare scheduling, cost, and progress data for AI and analytical processing
  • Implement machine learning and large language model techniques to enhance document control and engineering data insights within project workflows
  • Compare AI-generated outputs with authentic project baselines and accepted planning standards to ensure accuracy
  • Develop interactive dashboards and analytical tools that transform project data into actionable insights for management decision-making

Candidate Requirements

  • A degree in artificial intelligence, computer science, data science, civil engineering, or construction engineering
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience; highly capable recent graduates are also considered
  • Practical AI expertise including Python programming, data engineering, foundational machine learning, or applied large language model work
  • Solid knowledge of construction processes such as planning, scheduling, quantities measurement, or site workflows, acquired via academic study, internships, or professional roles
  • Familiarity with contemporary AI tools like large language model APIs, retrieval pipelines, or agent frameworks is advantageous
  • Preference for graduates from UAE institutions such as MBZUAI, Khalifa University, UAEU, AUS, or Abu Dhabi University
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English is beneficial
