The program focuses on skill enhancement, real-world experience, and clear career planning to prepare learners for banking careers.
Role Overview
Based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, the Placement Manager is a full-time onsite position aimed at successfully placing students finishing the Banking Program. The individual will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining productive relationships with recruiters in the BFSI industry, sourcing job openings, and managing campus recruitment activities. Supporting learners through career guidance, resume creation, interview preparation, and placement monitoring are key facets of the role.
Key Duties
- Establish and nurture effective connections with BFSI hiring partners to understand their workforce requirements.
- Match student qualifications and skills to relevant employment opportunities.
- Coordinate job fairs, recruitment drives, and other placement events on campus.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date placement reports and dashboards to track outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with training teams to ensure curriculum alignment with market needs, guaranteeing students' job readiness.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong abilities in relationship management and liaising with corporate BFSI stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for guiding students and representing the institute.
- In-depth understanding of banking roles, BFSI recruitment cycles, and industry trends to effectively advise learners.
- Robust organizational and planning capabilities for managing placement pipelines and coordinating events.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and negotiation to address challenges and harmonize employer and candidate expectations.
- Relevant experience in placement, career services, corporate training, or HR/recruitment, particularly within BFSI or education sectors, is a significant advantage.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Commerce, HR, or a related field is preferred; further certifications in banking or career counseling enhance candidacy.
- Competency with MS Office, online recruitment tools, and basic data analytics for monitoring placements.
