Role Overview
We are expanding our multidisciplinary team in Upper Hutt, Wellington, and invite a Physiotherapist to join us. This position is ideal for those early in their career, offering the chance to develop foundational expertise in musculoskeletal and community rehabilitation with the backing of seasoned clinicians and leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, treatments, and rehabilitation using proven physiotherapy methods.
- Deliver care to both clinic and community-based clients.
- Adhere to ACC and contractual timelines for service delivery.
- Utilize our AI-powered note-taking assistant, "Heidi," to reduce administrative workload.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Enhance communication skills when engaging with clients, their families, funders, and stakeholders.
- Participate actively in case reviews and team educational sessions.
- Receive ongoing support to build confidence and clinical expertise without being overwhelmed.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and productivity, setting and reviewing personal goals with managerial support.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Physiotherapy qualification recognized in New Zealand with 1-2 years’ post-graduation experience.
- Current registration or eligibility with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand (PBNZ).
- A positive mindset combined with a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication abilities and a client-focused approach.
- Self-assurance in working independently while seeking support when necessary.
- Valid full New Zealand driver’s license.
