Photographer/ Videographer

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing the entire photography and videography process—from planning and shooting to editing and final delivery. The position involves working hands-on in a dynamic, small team environment, handling diverse projects such as product photography in a studio and corporate film production on location. Independently managing shoots and professionally interfacing with clients is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute photo and video shoots both in studio and on location, covering products, corporate events, food and beverage, real estate, and more.
• Perform editing and retouching of still images using Lightroom and Photoshop; edit, color grade, and finalize videos through Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Provide final assets formatted for various platforms including web and social media, ensuring vertical video compatibility for platforms like Reels and TikTok.
• Analyze client briefs, develop shot lists, and direct both talent and clients during shoots to achieve desired outcomes.
• Oversee, upkeep, and manage photography and videography gear including cameras, lenses, lighting, and grip equipment.
• Systematically organize and archive raw footage and finished output following a consistent file structure.

Requirements

• Proven commercial experience in photography and/or videography demonstrated through a portfolio, which will be the main evaluation criterion.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro; familiarity with DaVinci Resolve or After Effects is advantageous.
• Capable of independently managing small-scale shoots from initial setup through to final delivery.
• Must be based in Qatar with a valid transferable visa or NOC, or eligible for relocation to Qatar.
• Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Drone operation experience coupled with a valid Qatar Civil Aviation Authority permit.
• Skills in motion graphics or basic animation techniques.
• Experience creating short-form social media video content like Reels, TikTok videos, or YouTube Shorts.
