About Coucou French Classes
Coucou is a French language school dedicated to adult learners, offering both in-person sessions at our Soho facility and online courses. Over the last ten years, we've developed a unique teaching methodology complemented by a vibrant community, cultural workshops, events, and a digital platform called 6pm in Paris for cinematic, on-demand French education.
Our philosophy centers on making language learning an integral, enjoyable part of everyday life, akin to reading, traveling, or cooking. For us, mastering French serves not merely as a goal but as a means to cultivate confidence, foster connections, and enrich life experiences.
Role Overview
This position manages the daily administrative and people operations tasks within the company. You will be the go-to person for team members with administrative queries and ensure the team is well-supported to perform optimally. Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
- Demonstrates curiosity, proactive learning capability, and adaptability to change.
- Strong interpersonal skills to read situations and be a dependable contact person.

- Enjoyment of a collaborative small team environment where everyone contributes broadly.

- Knowledgeable of New York employment regulations.
- Interest or certification in Human Resources, such as SHRM or working toward one.

- Opportunities for role expansion and professional growth.
- 25 days of paid vacation annually (including two weeks’ company closure at year-end).
