Role Overview

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven expertise delivering payroll for 2,000+ employees, within multi-site unionized environments, ensuring statutory compliance and adherence to collective agreements.
  • Experience as a hands-on manager providing leadership, coaching, troubleshooting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Payroll certification (IPASS) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency with payroll software such as ADP GlobalView, SAP Payroll, UKG Dimensions, Kronos Workforce Central, Workday, or Core HR systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, V-lookups, and formulas; familiarity with macros is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a detail-oriented and data-driven approach.
