Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Painter to work on-site in Dubai. The role involves preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections before painting. You will be responsible for mixing and matching paint colors, then applying paint, varnish, or other coatings to various surfaces such as walls, ceilings, doors, and exteriors using brushes, rollers, or spray tools. Ensuring protection of adjacent areas with covers, maintaining tools effectively, and observing safety and quality protocols are key. Collaboration with supervisors and team members to meet deadlines, reporting work progress, and keeping the workspace organized will also be part of your duties.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Hands-on experience with painting in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, including surface prep and diverse paint applications.
• Capability to understand instructions, interpret drawings/specifications, and accurately mix and match paint to meet color requirements.
• Understanding of safety guidelines, including safe ladder and scaffold use, plus proper handling of painting tools, materials, and chemicals.
• Excellent attention to detail to create clean edges and consistent coverage, ensuring high workmanship standards.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and operate at heights for long periods, adaptable to indoor and outdoor working conditions.
• Time-conscious with reliable scheduling abilities, team-oriented mindset, and clear communication with colleagues and supervisors.
• Prior experience as a Painter or similar trade is preferred; vocational painting or construction certifications are advantageous.
• Authorized to work in the UAE with basic proficiency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
