Overnight Task Team Outfitter

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Overnight Supervisor, the Overnight Task Team Outfitter plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient store operations by taking on non-selling responsibilities. This support enables Sales Outfitters to concentrate on delivering legendary customer service and enhancing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Restock and replenish merchandise across various departments including Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Marine/Water Sports, Apparel, Footwear, Hunting Clothing, and Gifts.
• Collaborate with the Inventory Control team to support inventory accuracy by conducting on-demand counts, scanning empty pegs, verifying display integrity, and related tasks.
• Execute both temporary and permanent price changes involving tagging, signage updates, and reviewing inventory adjustments.
• Maintain department appearance by folding, repackaging, sorting, facing products, and re-hanging items as needed.
• Assist with visual merchandising duties such as replacing fixtures, refreshing signage, updating end caps, following merchandising directives, carrying out floor moves, dressing mannequins, and preparing merchandise for advertisements and resets when necessary.
• Support planogram setup and upkeep in all hardlines departments.
• Provide assistance during high-demand periods for OMNI fulfillment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of planograms and visual merchandising preferred.
• Ability to identify and replenish low or out-of-stock inventory efficiently.
• Availability to work overnight shifts.
• Strong commitment to superior customer service.
• Good judgment and logical decision-making capabilities.
• Background or interest in outdoor lifestyle or related fields is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s product lines is considered an asset.
