Over-The-Road (OTR) Driver at Frito Lay Cambridge

About the Role

PepsiCo Foods Canada is seeking an experienced Over-The-Road (OTR) Driver to join the Frito Lay Facility in Cambridge, Ontario. This full-time position involves delivering products to Frito Lay locations and external customers using single or Long Combination Vehicles (LCV), with either automatic or standard transmission tractors. The driver will also perform unloading duties by hand or with handcarts, including handling bins. Shift work is from Friday to Tuesday, with start times ranging flexibly from 2 AM to 3 PM, beginning in late August 2026.

Responsibilities

• Operate single or Long Combination Vehicles safely to deliver products to internal and external customers.
• Unload products manually or with handcarts at various locations, including bins as necessary.
• Complete overnight drives using bunk tractors as assigned.
• Adhere strictly to Frito Lay and Ministry of Transportation policies, traffic safety rules, and company controls.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism during all interactions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a clean driving abstract and valid medical certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an OTR Driver.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience operating Long Combination Vehicles is an advantage.
• Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capable of working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Demonstrate excellent time management, task prioritization, and ability to work under pressure.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds as part of the job duties.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications including digital logs and reporting systems.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and business needs.
