Operations Services Supervisor - CNG & Hydrogen Facilities

Job Overview

This position requires planning and overseeing the safe and efficient operation of CNG and Hydrogen filling stations, ensuring compliance with standards and manufacturer guidelines. It involves optimal resource utilization including manpower and materials, alongside the management of CNG trailer logistics between mother and daughter stations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily CNG trailer filling at mother stations and guarantee their safe and timely delivery to daughter stations to prevent shortages.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, including the issuance of work permits before starting any tasks on CNG station equipment, and monitor compliance throughout operations.
• Conduct periodic site inspections of CNG and Hydrogen stations to verify operations meet safety standards and manufacturer recommendations.
• Deliver regular training sessions for station fillers and operators to familiarize them with facility operations.
• Maintain safe facility operations, document all filling and dispatch activity, and prepare schedules for trailer dispatches accordingly.
• Initiate corrective actions concerning operational control services when required or as per company policies.
• Perform other duties assigned by the CNG Operations Engineer.
• Remain on 24-hour standby to address emergency calls promptly.
• Ensure all work is performed safely according to established standards and instructions.
• Maintain and update documentation in line with document control procedures.
• Comply with company policies, specifications, and regulations during duties.
• Participate in the commissioning of new CNG and Hydrogen stations per approved processes.

Maintenance and HSSE Management

• Plan, organize, and supervise operations and maintenance activities for natural gas equipment, including compressors, dispensers, trailers, and heads, ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Ensure all personnel receive training on safety regulations and emergency protocols.
• Coordinate HSE-related instruction and training for operators, trailer drivers, and laborers to minimize risks.
• Collaborate on quality assurance matters and maintain documentation as per ISO policies.
• Manage the storage of scrap materials in quarantine to prevent any issues originating from that area.

Reporting

• Compile and submit weekly and monthly performance reports for CNG and Hydrogen facilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.
• Five to six years of supervisory experience managing CNG/NG operations.
