Role Overview

The Operations Manager position is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for managing the daily operations of the café to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery. Key duties encompass managing employee schedules, overseeing front and back-of-house operations, and ensuring product quality and presentation meet brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff rosters and supervise daily service activities for both front and back areas.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness protocols.
• Assist in staff training programs to uphold service excellence and operational consistency.
• Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement process enhancements aligned with customer experience goals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality operations including team supervision and coordination.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing staff performance and fostering a cooperative work culture.
• Competence in inventory management, supplier coordination, and basic budgeting principles.
• Ability to consistently maintain high standards of customer service, product quality, and brand-aligned presentation.
• Knowledgeable of health, safety, and food hygiene standards with practical experience enforcing policies.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, detail-oriented with a proactive operational approach.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, basic office applications, and working with sales or operational reports.
• Experience in specialty café or lifestyle brand environments preferred; fluent English required, Arabic is advantageous.
