Role Purpose

The Offshore Methods Draftsman plays a vital role in supporting the expert and senior teams in preparing and developing engineering deliverables for offshore transportation and installation focused on shallow water projects. This role involves producing precise technical drawings and arrangements that comply with project demands and industry standards to ensure successful planning and execution of offshore installation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed offshore transportation and installation drawings covering pipelines, jackets, decks, bridges, cables, and other offshore structures.
• Design anchor pattern layouts and mooring configuration drawings used by offshore construction vessels.
• Prepare cargo barge transportation schematics and plans for offshore transport operations.
• Develop installation diagrams for subsea components such as piles, risers, J-tubes, sleepers, and mattresses.
• Contribute to engineering tasks involving subsea facilities, including pipelines, flexible products, and subsea structures.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

Education: Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Marine Engineering, Drafting, or related technical fields.

Experience: At least five years of relevant involvement in the offshore installation sector with proven expertise in offshore transportation and installation engineering activities, particularly within shallow water environments.

Technical Skills: Familiar with S-Lay pipeline installation, jacket, deck, bridge, cable handling, and offshore structure installation. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

Language: Professional working proficiency in English is required.

Technical Knowledge Required

• Comprehensive understanding of offshore transportation and installation methods.
• Expertise in creating anchor pattern and vessel mooring drawings.
• Skilled in offshore pipeline transportation and installation processes.
• Knowledgeable in transportation and installation of jackets, decks, bridges, and cargo barges.
• Experience drafting for subsea facilities.
• Familiar with relevant offshore engineering standards and procedural guidelines.

Additional Information
