Job description
Overview
The Officer - Technical Records is responsible for maintaining and updating aircraft and component maintenance documentation to comply with all applicable requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Aeronautical, Aircraft Engineering, or related fields from a recognized institute.
- At least 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferably in avionics or a similar sector.
Language Skills
Proficiency in technical English, including reading, writing, and comprehension, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, receive, and archive maintenance documentation accurately.
- Maintain and update logbooks and various technical record binders.
- Issue and monitor discrepancies reports to ensure timely resolution.
- Compile and distribute reports such as aircraft utilization, engine utilization, and engine life-limited parts status.
- Collaborate internally and externally to keep maintenance records current and precise.
- Support the preparation of records during aircraft transfers.
- Suggest improvements to technical procedures and operational protocols.
- Monitor daily fleet status, ground support equipment conditions, cannibalization activities, maintenance materials, and AOG/IOR incidents, reporting these to the end user.
- Verify completion of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks and update stakeholders on any pending actions.
- Manage unscheduled aircraft and ground support equipment parking associated with technical issues or modifications, communicating updates to customers as needed.
- Coordinate additional customer requirements including urgent staffing, flight changes, and maintenance interventions.
- Plan deployments and ensure readiness of aircraft, ground support equipment, personnel, materials, and fuel resources.
- Prepare technical documents including meeting minutes and safety investigation reports for internal and external use.

- Willingness to travel to forward operating bases and remote locations, work overtime, and adjust to shift changes on short notice.
