Overview
Dr. Heal Pain Cure Hospital in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Nursing Superintendent to oversee and direct all nursing services. The role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, managing nursing staff, ensuring NABH accreditation adherence, and maintaining efficient nursing operations hospital-wide.
Primary Duties
- Manage and supervise all nursing personnel and activities throughout the hospital.
- Guarantee the provision of high-quality nursing care consistent with institutional standards.
- Formulate and enforce nursing policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor nursing operations for compliance with NABH guidelines and hospital regulations.
- Prepare staff duty schedules and maintain appropriate nurse staffing levels.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
- Mentor and train nurses to enhance clinical skills and professional growth.
- Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and administration for coordinated patient care.
- Ensure thorough maintenance of nursing documentation including patient records and medication charts.
- Oversee infection control measures, patient safety practices, and other quality parameters.
- Address patient concerns, nursing grievances, and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professionalism within the nursing team.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews of nursing staff.
- Oversee the use and availability of medical equipment and nursing supplies.
- Organize continuing medical education (CME), training sessions, and nursing development programs regularly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Registration with the Karnataka Nursing Council is mandatory.
- Additional certification in Hospital Administration or NABH accreditation is advantageous.
Experience
- At least 5 to 10 years of nursing experience in a well-established hospital setting.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years in a supervisory or administrative nursing position preferred.
- Experience working in NABH accredited hospitals is highly desirable.

Working Conditions
