Nursery Assistant

About the Role

Are you passionate about helping young children develop and grow? We are seeking experienced Nursery Assistants to join various nurseries across Chester and Cheshire West. This position offers flexible full and half-day shift options generally scheduled between 8am and 6pm, allowing you to balance work and personal life effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with room leaders to create engaging, innovative, and playful learning activities.
• Support children's early learning on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
• Apply your understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to guide children's daily activities safely.
• Oversee children during mealtimes, snacks, and outdoor play, ensuring a safe and encouraging environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in education or early years settings is essential.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Enhanced Child DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification preferred.
