Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in general networking principles, including the OSI model.
• Install, service, and fix structured cabling systems and interpret technical schematics.
• Configure and troubleshoot DHCP and DNS servers and gateways.
• Evaluate network latency, conduct packet captures, and monitor network health.
• Deploy, configure, and resolve issues with switches and routers from vendors such as Fortinet, Meraki, and Cisco.
• Manage broadcast domains and implement VLANs accurately.
• Handle switch stacking procedures and power failover configurations.
• Analyze and troubleshoot various network topologies.
• Set up and maintain firewalls and site-to-site VPNs as well as client SSL VPNs across Fortinet, Meraki, and Cisco platforms.
• Ensure proper licensing management and configuration backup procedures for firewalls and wireless systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot wireless networks including Fortinet, Meraki, Cisco, and UniFi solutions.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft 365, server, storage, and network administration, including setup and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree related to the field or an equivalent blend of education and professional experience.
• A minimum of five years of practical experience in Network Administration.
• Mandatory possession of at least one certification among CompTIA Network+, CCNA (200-301), Cisco Certified DevNet Associate, or Fortinet NSE 4-6.
• Additional desired certifications (at least two) include Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Windows Server Administration Fundamentals, CompTIA Server+, Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, VMware Certified Professional, Red Hat Certified Engineer, or a comparable computer science qualification or experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and adaptability to a fast-moving work context.

• Demonstrated dedication to providing superior IT systems and support services.
