About the Role

As a Materials Specialist, you will support warehouse and material operations to ensure smooth supply chain management for aircraft maintenance. Collaborating closely with Maintenance and other departments, you will help maintain inventory accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of Material Stores and Line Material functions.
  • Resolve issues related to inventory accuracy, parts issuing, shipping, receiving, and material handling.
  • Oversee warehouse activities for both Technical and Non-Technical inventory.
  • Execute data entry tasks in the inventory system for locating, issuing, receiving, and shipping materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Coordinate inventory movements, tooling, and equipment for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) scenarios alongside Maintenance Operations Control.
  • Maintain and adjust stock levels by working with Maintenance, Purchasing, and other company departments.
  • Conduct inventory audits, physical counts, and reconciliations to ensure compliance with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
  • Collaborate with Maintenance and Quality teams for regulatory compliance including tooling calibration and shelf-life audits.
  • Perform receiving inspections as directed by Quality Control.
  • Prepare and ship hazardous materials following International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations.
  • Assist Engineering and Maintenance Planning in assembling fleet modification kits.
  • Fulfill additional duties assigned by the Materials Manager.
  • Meet performance goals in alignment with Breeze Aviation Group's core values: Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience involving data entry or inventory management.
  • Proficient technical and analytical skills for utilizing TRAX, Excel, and generating reports.
  • Valid driver's license meeting company standards and the ability to operate company vehicles, trucks, forklifts, and Ground Service Equipment.
  • Successful completion of Materials and General Maintenance Manual (GMM) training.
  • Certification and recurrent training in Dangerous Goods (DG) handling per IATA regulations.
  • Authorization to work legally in the U.S. as mandated by immigration laws.
  • Ability to operate 5K and 15K forklifts to facilitate shipping and handling of aircraft engines and equipment.
  • Passing a 10-year background check and criminal history records check (CHRC).
  • Possession of an unrestricted valid passport.
  • Capability to attain and sustain a SIDA badge compliant with TSA guidelines and appropriate airport or U.S. Customs security credentials.
  • Fluency in English and at least 18 years old.

Preferred Experience
