Master Cutter & Pattern Maker - Womenswear and Menswear

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly proficient Master Cutter and Pattern Maker to become an integral member of the luxury fashion team at Taireen Mushtaq Designer Fashion House located in Dubai. This full-time role demands expertise in crafting precise patterns, taking exact measurements, expertly cutting fabric, and stitching garments finished to premium quality standards for both womenswear and menswear collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop precise and accurate patterns for both women’s and men’s clothing.
• Perform fabric cutting duties for custom couture pieces, ready-to-wear collections, and special fashion projects.
• Sew sample garments and final products ensuring exceptional finishing.
• Apply techniques related to draping, fitting, and garment assembly.
• Collaborate closely with designers to translate concepts into finished garments.
• Optimize fabric utilization and uphold stringent quality control measures.
• Oversee garment alterations and manage urgent last-minute modifications.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 5 years of practical experience in cutting and pattern making.
• Sound expertise in tailoring techniques for both womenswear and menswear.
• Proficient in stitching with emphasis on high-quality finishing.
• Previous work experience in a boutique, couture house, or specialized fashion studio environment.
• Strong attention to detail, creative approach, and precision in work.
• Capability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
