Role Overview
The Learning Designer will join SpryPoint's Learning Design & Enablement team to develop engaging and impactful product training for clients. This fully remote position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams including product development, UI, and Service Delivery, reporting directly to the Learning Design & Enablement Manager. Occasional travel within North America to company events and client sites may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing compelling and effective training programs for SpryPoint clients.
- Supporting clients through their implementation phases.
- Transforming technical documentation and materials into dynamic training modules, activities, and assessments.
- Creating onboarding and training content tailored for new internal team members.
- Participating in team brainstorming to advance e-learning initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two years' experience developing high-quality training content for software solutions.
- Educational credentials with a focus on instructional design for adults, curriculum development, or related disciplines.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Zoom, Pages, and Keynote for creating diverse training resources.
- Expertise in Articulate Rise and Storyline, along with familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM publishing processes.
- Curiosity and openness to integrate AI-based tools like Synthesia and NotebookLM into learning delivery.
- Strong verbal communication and advanced English writing skills.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Experience within the utilities sector, SaaS, or software implementation is advantageous but not mandatory.
Interview Process
The recruitment process includes a recruiter screening, a 30-minute interview with the hiring manager, a practical learning design assignment, a final interview session with the manager and a future team member, followed by reference checks before extending an offer. The process emphasizes communication skills, instructional design capabilities, collaboration, and delivery focus, encouraging candidates to present their authentic selves.
