About Australian Payments Plus

Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
As a Leadership Development Consultant on a part-time, onsite contract (maximum 6 months, two days per week), you will be instrumental in cultivating leadership capabilities within AP+. Your duties include designing, executing, and refining leadership development initiatives aligned to AP+'s strategic goals and leadership frameworks. Collaborating with the People, Culture and Capability team and business leaders, you will deliver impactful learning experiences that enhance leadership skills, encourage cultural and behavioral shifts, and build powerful teams.
- Develop, deliver, and continuously improve leadership programs and learning pathways that align with AP+ strategic priorities and leadership principles.
- Work closely with leaders and stakeholders to convert leadership capability priorities into effective development solutions.
- Facilitate engaging leadership workshops, cohort programs, and team development sessions designed to boost organizational performance.
- Offer expert advice on leadership development strategies, learning methodologies, and facilitation practices.
- Oversee the implementation of leadership learning initiatives to ensure exceptional participant experiences and outcomes.
- Assist leaders and teams in embedding new behaviors and working methods through targeted reinforcement activities.
- Utilize leadership assessment tools and evaluation techniques to identify capability gaps and measure the impact of learning interventions for continual enhancement.
- Forge strong partnerships across the organization, influencing leadership through data-driven insights and consistent, high-quality program delivery.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Proven experience designing, delivering, and assessing leadership development programs within complex organizational environments.
- Strong facilitation expertise including conducting workshops, leadership cohorts, and team sessions for senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability to collaborate with leaders to diagnose developmental needs and craft applicable leadership and organizational development strategies.
- Experience in crafting engaging learning pathways, resources, and leadership capability frameworks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of adult learning theories, leadership development techniques, organizational change management, and behavioral competencies.
- Proficiency in leveraging leadership assessments and learning evaluation methods to measure and improve program effectiveness.
- Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, and influencing capabilities, with a talent for building trusted relationships at all organizational levels.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in fields such as Organisational Psychology, Human Resources, Adult Learning, Education, Business, or related disciplines. Professional certification in coaching, facilitation, or leadership assessment is highly desirable.
