About the Role
We are seeking a Large Enterprise Account Director to join our team, focusing on delivering value within the Enterprise sector through Talent Solutions. This position is located in a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with on-site presence in one of our offices including New York, Chicago, Omaha, Sunnyvale, or San Francisco. The role requires building strong, executive-level relationships with some of our largest North American customers and coordinating complex sales strategies across internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on clients' businesses and prepare insightful questions before meetings.
- Engage in deep discussions by asking multi-layered, open questions to fully understand client objectives and challenges.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels and departments within client organizations.
- Establish trusted partnerships with CHROs and CXO-level executives by providing industry and LinkedIn insights.
- Adapt communication style to suit the diverse needs of various stakeholders.
- Recommend solutions aligned with customer goals rather than focusing on product features.
- Maintain comprehensive expertise in LinkedIn Talent Solutions and communicate the benefits of new offerings and enhancements.
- Drive customer decisions by creating shared visions and addressing value propositions that unite stakeholders.
- Employ commercial acumen when negotiating contracts and agreements to optimize mutual benefits.
- Utilize data and analytics to support investment suggestions and overcome objections.
- Proactively work to reduce customer attrition through a customer-centric approach.
- Continuously engage with customers to confirm value and refine strategies to maximize return on investment.
- Apply business understanding in account planning by analyzing company strategies, economic trends, decision-making processes, current product use, and revenue opportunities.
- Lead collaborative customer-focused teams, sharing responsibility for optimal client success.
- Conduct all sales activities with integrity and professionalism.
- Seek assistance from colleagues when faced with challenges or unfamiliar situations.
- Diligently manage territory planning, forecasting, and quota responsibilities.
- Adhere to best practices when utilizing CRM and other sales tools to manage sales cycles effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant sales experience.
- Experience with HR software and SaaS environments is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms and IT solutions sales.
- Knowledge of software contract terms, capable of negotiating equitable agreements.
- Strong abilities in negotiation, forecasting, and strategic planning to meet revenue targets.
- Exceptional communication and persuasive skills in complex sales settings.
- Demonstrated success in managing high-level sales opportunities and nurturing client relationships.
- Ability to gather and analyze data for informed decision-making and client persuasion.
- Skilled at understanding customer needs and orchestrating deal closures involving multiple partners.
- Ability to competitively position solutions against direct and indirect competitors by engaging executive teams.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated total earnings range from $213,000 to $325,000 OTE. The overall package may also include annual performance bonuses, equity stock options, benefits, and other incentive programs. Actual remuneration depends on individual factors including skills, experience, certifications, and specific work location, reflecting regional labor cost differences.
