L2 Production Support Engineer

About the Role

This position involves providing Level 2 production support focused on applications developed in Java/J2EE environments. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline and should have 2 to 4 years of experience in application support or software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer hands-on support and maintenance for production applications, resolving incidents within defined SLAs.
• Use strong troubleshooting skills to analyze and fix application and system-related problems.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related area.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in either application support or coding roles.
• Proficiency with Java/J2EE programming frameworks and software development principles.
• Solid foundation in SQL database querying and Linux operating system usage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage technical challenges effectively.
