Key Responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring and inclusive lessons to enable student independence and maximize progress.
• Establish positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.

• Take responsibility for student progress, recording assessments in Target Tracker software, and use data to refine teaching and interventions.
• Provide meaningful feedback to parents during conferences and meetings regarding student development.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, support school events including weekend or evening activities, and run a weekly extracurricular activity each term.
• Communicate student achievements and well-being efficiently through school systems like CPOMS.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Kindergarten Education or a related field, with a PGCE or equivalent teaching certification.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of kindergarten teaching experience.
• Experience teaching students for whom English is a second language.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching and dedication to holistic child development.
• High professional standards and focus on children’s well-being.
• Proven involvement in extracurricular activities recently and consistently.
• Respect for diversity and all members of the school community.
• Positive, solution-oriented work attitude.
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or police clearance.
• Residency within the same Emirate as the school is required.
